What is your style?
I’m not sure that I have ‘one’ certain style. I aim to be flexible and meet each and every one of my client’s expectations. Over the years I have mastered the many fields of photography and as part of my service I apply what is required to meet your needs.
I will take a photojournalistic approach when it counts, use our organisational skills when needed and most importantly keep it fun and deliver great images. I like to keep things, clean, contemporary and timeless.
Will you retouch the files?
All images are carefully edited and retouched one by one. Further retouching when needed can vary from image to image and may be as simple removing a blemish a blemish right through to building a dramatic sky using only information in the file. So nothing is fake, just carefully enhanced.
With all wedding packages, I include a full set of retouched colour corrected files, and another full set of creative retouched files so you have freedom and flexibility. You will not be stuck with outdated images in years to come (and will not financially tied to the studio if you need changes made in the future) Clean, true images are always at hand. Simple!
When do we get to see our images?
You will be sent a ‘Sneak Peek’ within 24 hours of your wedding day. Just a handful of files to share with family and friends that were, perhaps unable to make it. Images may also be found on social media platforms for self promotional purposes unless otherwise specified.
The rest of your beautifully edited and retouched digital files will be delivered within 10-14 working days depending on the Wedding Package you have selected.
Portrait Packages are delivered with in 5 working days
Commercial clients can expect the turnaround of images to fit in with their specified deadline.
When should we book?
It’s obviously best to book as soon as possible to avoid disappointment. You can start this process through the contact page. Once your booking is paid, you can sit back and rest assured you have me firmly locked in for the day.
How much is your booking fee and is it refundable? Commercial and Wedding Clients
For my Commercial Clients, the scheduled shoot is 100% refundable if cancelled with 1 week or greater notification. If the agreed hours or coverage (continued confirmation of booking after quotation) are reduced or cancelled with less than 1 week notification of booking 50% of the quotation will be charged for. Postponements are to be discussed with The Photographer. For Wedding Photography, the booking fee is $400.00 with the remainder of the package price to be paid on the day. The booking fee is 50% refundable 6 months plus from the wedding date. The booking fee is not refundable if cancelled within 6 months of the proposed shoot. Postponements are to be discussed with The Photographer. (And fear not, I know sometime life gets in the way, and I am extremely compassionate when needs need to be met) For all second shooters and Videographers booked 50% will be charged regardless of cancellation time
If I buy a voucher is it transferable if we are unable to make it?
Vouchers are transferable once only, within a 6 month period. Any charitable auction vouchers or donated vouchers are non transferable, nor able for resell, or donation
Do you travel?
I sure do! Travel up to 100km is included in all three standard wedding packages. Additional travel costs are kept to an absolute minimum so certainly get in touch to find out more.
Do you do albums?
Yes. As a longstanding supplier of Queensberry products, rest assured that the albums available on the Product page are the ULTIMATE in quality and can be completely personalised to suit your individual style. Additional retouching is free of charge with all Album and Print orders. Any Album included in a package need to be ordered within the year. A discount on the full album price of 35% will be given to orders within 2 years and 15% discount given to orders after two years.
